Birdwatching in the sky of Macanao has slowly turned into an additional attraction for visitors of the peninsula. This is a region with a vibrant bird community, formed by more than a hundred bird species.

Among these birds more than eleven (11) orders and one hundred and fifty eight (158) species are mentioned, making this beautiful zone of Margarita island look like a paradise for the birdwatcher and photographer.
