The Macanao Peninsula
back
Only 15.000 inhabitants live in this region, most of them in little fishermen villages spread along the coast. The internal part of the area is undeveloped, and is inhabited by deers, goats, and hares that wander through the short vegetation which nourishes them.
It is a thinly populated region, special for those who wish to stay further away from the crowds and tumult of Porlamar.
