Margarita
Margarita is an island located northeast of Caracas, the capital, and can be reached in 35 minutes by plane. It is one of the most visited places in Venezuela.

These environments are one of the main natural attractions of the island and because of its ecological importance, they are protected as the Lagoon of La Restinga National Park. Aboard picturesque boats you'll navigate the enchanting canals through the mangroves, home of a rich variety of marine species such as sea stars, sea horses, urchins and oysters. You will probably find flamingos, hawks, pelicans and Margarita's own parrot as well.
Macanao Peninsula
Isolated virgin beaches, emblematic birds, and ancestral traditions become
routine in the little towns, mountains, valleys, and beaches of Macanao. One
beautiful peninsula that allows us to meet today Margarita´s life from
yesterday. Macanao was spared from the changes that occurred at the eastern
part of the island.
Put aside one day to visit the Peninsula of Macanao and discover this magical
place.
